* IMPORTANT ELECTION CHANGES FOR 2021
Please note that in the March 2020 township election, voters approved two important election changes:
1. Township elections have been moved from March to November to coincide with the national general election.
2. Voting has changed from in-person voting to mail-in ballots for all future elections.

Elected Positions
Elected officials for Elgin Township include three supervisors, a clerk, and a treasurer. The length of terms for township supervisors is four years, and both the clerk and treasure terms are two years. If you have an interest in being considered as a candidate for an elected position, please contact the Elgin Township Clerk.
Elections in Elgin Township are held annually on the first Tuesday following the first Monday in November.
